Welcome to JCC Graphic Design, a college credit course. I would like to remind you, that you do NOT need to be an art major in college to use this credit. This credit can be used to take the place of an elective course for any major.
Who should take JCC Graphic Design?
JCC courses are typically taken by high school juniors and seniors. Students will gain a working knowledge of foundation skills and abilities in artistic visual expression, Students will be introduced to techniques and processes of creating artwork and graphic design using the computer. Students will gain an overview of electronic image manipulation, illustration and page layout and design. This course is a prerequisite to other computer art/graphic courses. This course will also involve students learning to sketch their ideas in a sketchbook as well.
